FJORD NORWAY

Western Norway is a region of narrow fjords cutting into tall mountains, of waterfalls cascading down mountainsides, and of glaciers that never melt. 

Top activities in Fjord Norway

VØRINGSFOSSEN - MÅBØDALEN

Enjoy the view of one of the most impressive waterfalls in Norway that pours out from the Hardangervidda mountain plateau and curbs itself down the narrow and wild Måbødalen valley.

PREIKESTOLEN (PULPIT ROCK) - HIKE

The Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen), the most famous tourist attraction in Ryfylke, towers an impressive 604 metres over the Lysefjord.

FOLGEFONNA NATIONAL PARK

Norway's third largest glacier. In 2005 Folgefonna National Park was opened, which at the time was Norway's twenty fifth national park. Folgefonna is known for its dramatic and beautiful scenery. Here you will find fjords, mountains, lakes, rivers and water falls.

Trolltunga

Trolltunga is one of the most spectacular scenic cliffs in Norway. Trolltunga is situated about 1100 meters above sea level, hovering 700 metres above lake Ringedalsvatnet. The view is breathtaking.

Fløibanen funicular

Take the funicular railway to Mount Fløyen and see all of Bergen in just 8 minutes.

BRYGGEN IN BERGEN

Bryggen is one of Bergen's and Norway's main attractions. Bryggen was built after the great fire in 1702 and is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

OSLO

Oslo is one of Europe’s fastest-growing cities, with a population approaching 700,000 and new neighbourhoods with eye-catching architecture popping up almost by the minute. The largest city in Norway is quickly transforming into a cosmopolitan hub with an abundance of world-class museumsrestaurants, and art, while still maintaining the relaxed atmosphere of a much smaller town.

HOLMENKOLLEN SKI MUSEUM & TOWER

A historic landmark in the Norwegian consciousness, Holmenkollen embodies more than a century of skiing competitions.

NORDMARKA WILDERNESS AREA

Big forest region in northern Oslo with ample outdoor recreation opportunities all year round. The routes in Nordmarka are usually well-marked, but a map is recommended for longer distances.

Oslo Winter Park

The largest ski resort in the Oslo area, with 18 slopes and 11 lifts - just 30 minutes from the city centre.

TROMSO

In this modern city in the Arctic, nature and culture go hand in hand. Tromsø offers all kinds of attractions, from an aquarium and several quality museums to the world’s northernmost botanical garden. The city is also a great place to observe the majestic phenomenon of the northern light.
