Food that Emirati people can try

People in Norway eat food that is similar to Emirati food, also they appreciate traditional cooked food. In both countries the main dish is usually the lunch meal which is considered as the family meal. The main meal in UAE includes rice, meat , fish and vegetables, bread and dates. Norwegian people consider the protein as the main source in the meals. 

Cod tongues

One of Norway's greatest exports but one specialty that hasn't been such a hit abroad is cod tongue.

King crab

Very popular in Norway, especially between the months of April and December

Salty liquorice

Norwegian people love the salt even if it comes to there sweets

Lutefisk

Is made by air-drying fish, reconstituting it by soaking it in cold water for a week.

Cloudberries

Is golden-yellow berries and its only found in the wild.

Brunost

Is sweet-savory cheese that delights Norwegians and surprises foreigners.

Gamalost

Old cheese, it's hard, crumbly brownish-yellow cheese with a sharp intense flavor.

Klippfisk

Dried and salted cod, in a tradition dating back to the 17th century.

Mahogany clam

The world oldest animal ever is said to be a sprightly little bivalve mollusk by the name of Ming, who was dredged off the coast of Iceland in 2006.

Great Scallops

Served in their shell with reindeer moss and juniper.

Rokt Laks or Smoked Salmon

Salmon is stapled food when it comes to Norwegian diet, its basis of many Norwegian dishes.
