Gender rules:
 

 

Egalitarianism:

• Norwegians view themselves as egalitarian people whose culture is based on democratic principles of
  respect and interdependence. Also, the egalitarian values which are at the root of the welfare
  state also manifest themselves throughout Norwegian
  society in many ways - for instance in the field of gender equality. The novel idea that women are equal to men.Like in the UAE gender equality is of paramount importance in the UAE, and the Constitution of the UAE guarantees equal rights for both men and women. 

• Norway has a paternity leave quota so that fathers can also take extended time off to be with their children.

 

Women:

• Women always have the same rights as men in Norway.In addition, women
  enjoy the same legal status in the UAE.

• With women you must avoid any physical contact, just a gesture of courtesy both in Norway and UAE.

• An employer cannot discriminate against you in the event that you become pregnant.
  Also,In the UAE work environment give women a vacation during pregnancy

When in a relationship / marriage (men and women):

• You have the right not to be abused (help is available if you are in an abusive relationship)
  and it's applies in the UAE.

• You have the right to a divorce or to leave your partner / spouse if you so wish. But in the UAE, wife can seek divorce but she cannot leave her husband.
  
   

Norwegians in general:

• They have simple tastes and are not prone to ostentation or excessive showiness. Unlike the Emirates people they like to  entertain themselves and they have complex tastes and they like to buy expensive things.

• They pride themselves on being honest and sincere in their personal relationships and it's similar to Emirates.

• They like people for themselves and not for what they do for a living their professional accomplishments or how much money they earn. On the other hand, in the UAE people accept a hierarchical order in which everybody has a place and which needs no further justification also this dimension deals with the fact that all individuals in societies are not equal.
